In the wake of a family tragedy, a farmer accepts an underground street fight in which he is paid to lose.
Synopsis
The story follows an unnamed farmer and his wife who find themselves in ruin after the loss of a child. Our story begins when an old friend with strong ties to the criminal underground offers the boxer in on a purse if he will put back on the gloves and fight. One catch - he must take a dive and throw the fight.

CROWD SOURCING
Our crowdsourcing campaign created an online Stick & Move community. We were able to raise one third of the budget and kick off the marketing with this approach. The film has led to many opportunities for cast and crew alike..
FILM FESTIVALS
Stick & Move has started its festival run and will continue to be submitted to dozens of nation wide and international film festivals. The genre and theme of the short fit the guide lines of a wide range of possibilities in the festival circuit.
LOCAL DISTRIBUTION
We are looking forward to local screenings of this film as the world starts to open up again in 2021. Celebrating the enormous efforts of our crew in the local marketplace will be a milestone filled with joy and success for our entire team.

The project has been heavily promoted leading up to its release.The cast totals over 250k impressions a week on Instagram alone. The creative process has been documented and shared with the audience, exposing the real lives of the cast and crew.

Marco Bossow is an award-winning cinematographer and director based in Vancouver. His passion for Science Fiction and its larger-than-life stories drove him to take up a place behind the camera after a lengthy stint as an editor and camera assistant honing his craft in Canada's film industry. He's a full member of ICG 669, an associate member of the CSC and holds dual citizenship between Canada and Germany.

He is most proud of his work in the senior care sector where he works with the Non-Profit Whole Way House to deliver food to seniors and veterans on the Downtown Eastside. They have delivered 130k meals since March 2020.
