production details
GEAR PACKAGE
Shot on the Canon C200, this documentary has a naturalistic style that bleeds intimacy and detail. As many of the locations were active athletic events, the small, run-and-gun rig was the perfect tool for remaining incognito while staying with the action.
FILM CREW
With a minimal camera crew, consisting primarily of filmmaker Connor Lang, the production remained simple with its sole focus set tightly on its subject - Johny. Post-production will be a team of industry professionals who can provide an astounding polish.
LOCATIONS
Shot in Beautiful British Columbia, featuring Vancouver, Abbotsford, Whistler, and a handful of other cities in the Lower Mainland, "Johny" is a local production. Percy Perry Stadium made an appearance amidst 30 degree summer heat for the Can West Games.
